Let there be a NEW light

We have been wanting to replace the ugly light/ceiling fan thingy that has been barely lighting our dining room. It is on the to-fix list, but we just couldn't get to it.

Pedar was at Habitat for Humanity Restore for a meeting. After, he wandered around and saw several great light options. He sent me a few pictures and I said, "Buy it!!" He came home with this fantastic drum light for less than $75!! OH YEAH!!!

It wasn't the safest installation ever, but the light is bright and beautiful. We are so happy!!

Every once in awhile I will think that we aren't making enough progress with the house and yards, etc. But then I look back at the pictures and posts from the Summer of 2013 and I smile. Things do change people. Change is so good.
